Experienced Engineering Leadership
I’m Boomie.
I've led engineering organizations at NPR, Capital One, and Accenture, and stepped in as fractional or interim CTO/VPE for growth-stage companies and nonprofits. I co-founded a fitness tech startup that reached 500K users, and I've directed technical strategy for systems processing hundreds of millions of transactions with zero errors.
I've led teams ranging from 2 to 40 engineers, driven DevSecOps transformations and org-wide security initiatives in regulated industries, and stabilized engineering organizations through leadership transitions. I built a system that's still in active use more than 15 years after launch.

I'm also an instructor, a board member for two nonprofits focused on advancing women and girls in STEM, and an experienced speaker. I believe good engineering leadership is inseparable from good people leadership.
