I'm Boomie. I've led engineering teams at NPR, Capital One, and Accenture. I co-founded a fitness tech startup that reached 3 million users, built backend systems that processed hundreds of millions of transactions, and have led organizations through growth, transition, and high-stakes delivery across startups, nonprofits, and enterprises.

I've led teams ranging from 4 to 40 engineers. I've driven DevSecOps transformations and org-wide security initiatives in regulated industries. I've stabilized 40-person engineering orgs during leadership gaps. And I built infrastructure that's still in active use more than 15 years after launch.

I'm also an adjunct professor, a board member for two nonprofits focused on advancing women and girls in STEM, and an experienced speaker. I believe good engineering leadership is inseparable from good people leadership.
